Horses Brawl

Members of the Horses Brawl

Listen to a sample of Horses Brawl La Gamba from their self titled album

This duo is making quite a name for itself at the moment presenting an innovative take on early music; with roots in renaissance, medieval, baroque and folk traditions look out for bowed guitar, double barrelled recorders and crumhorn solos.

Part folk – part early – part trained precision – part wild abandon.

The award winning and critically acclaimed international choreographer and director, Jonathan Lunn, has brought together an amazing array of artists from the worlds of film, dance, music, literature and opera to create Reading Room.

In a series of scenes focusing on different lives and relationships Reading Room looks at the connections, disconnections, pacts, secrets and lies of our human interactions.

Reading Room includes written text and narration by Anthony Minghella, with lighting design by Peter Mumford and an extra choreographed section by Bury Youth Dance. The performers will be accompanied by a well-known guest actor.
