Beating Retreat

To open the Festival this year the Queen's Colour Squadron and the band of the RAF Regiment will be entertaining the crowds on Angel Hill with the traditional Beating Retreat Ceremony.
A Walk on the Wild Side

Enjoy an evening of discovery as you learn about and explore Ickworth's wildlife and ancient trees with the National Trust's Nature Conservation Adviser, Dr Stuart Warrington. Followed by a scrumptious two-course supper.

The junkiest funkiest band around! Using anything they can find to turn into instruments, Weapons of Sound is the ultimate in recycling producing some seriously funky grooves. Joining the band on stage will be almost 200 school children playing some of their own junk funk.
